Barefoot Brooklyn is a group for minimally shod and barefoot runners of all levels of experience. Our group is in it for the sheer fun of running--and it is, when you're barefoot! See our "About" page (linked just below this text) for a few tips and some resources to help get you started. We're just getting the ball rolling, so all suggestions and ideas are welcome. The Liberated Fitness NYC is a hard training, supportive, workout group that gets superior fitness results with minimal equipment and no "gym". We meet at West 106 St. and Central Park every Saturday at 10 45am. Our workouts consist of body weight and gymnastic movements, sprints, and lifts. Do you love to run, but find it hard to find people who share in your joy. If so this group is for you. The sole purpose of this group is to set up, find , and participate in runs. We will sign up and participate in runs. We will also set up our own small runs for our group. Hopefully we will be able to go on road trips and take part is some far off runs.
